Miele has developed a full line of detergents in collaboration with the German chemical company, Dr. Weigert. These detergents have been designed and tested to provide the best results in the Miele G 7881.
Detergents used in the cleaning process are generally alkaline. In order to restore the proper pH balance and minimize damage to instruments, the G 7881 dispenses a neutralizing agent immediately following the wash cycle. This process also serves an important role in eliminating detergent residue from the items being washed.
A pH neutral detergent is also available for customers who would prefer a less aggressive approach to cleaning.
